बद्ध- आत्मा

A portion of your soul has been
entwined with mine
A gentle kind of togetherness, while
separately we stand.
As two trees deeply rooted in
separate plots of ground,
While their topmost branches
come together,
Forming a miracle of lace
against the heavens.
आत्मा का एक हिस्सा तेरी
बद्ध  हो मेरी से 
 सहज मधु भाव एकत्व का जब कि 
खड़े हैं हम अलग 
जैसे गहरी जड़ सहित दो वृक्ष हो 
 धरती के टुकड़े  अलग ,
पर शिखर की टहनियाँ 
जुड़ जाएँ जो ,
बद्ध  अद्भुत रूप से 
नीले अम्बर के तले
